CANNABINOID OF THE MONTH: Cannabigerol (#CBG) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in limited quantities within the cannabis we consume. 🌿
Because of its linage from #CBGA (#mothercannabinoid), as the strain reach maturity the majority of its CBG has been transformed into other cannabinoids -- primarily #THC or #CBD. 👩🔬👨🔬
For the strains that do leave CBG behind (generally <1%) the medical benefits could be endless, as it has been shown to help with anti-inflammatory, glaucoma, and antiemetic (appetite loss). There is so much to be learned about this #cannabinoid, but studies have found its positive effects on nerve cell degeneration, inflammatory bowel disease, and even slowing Colon Cancer growth. 🎉
