CANNABINOID OF THE MONTH: Cannabidivarin (#CBDv) is a naturally occurring non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in limited quantities within the #cannabis plant. It is structurally similar to cannabidiol (#CBD), but has two fewer methylene bridges - creating a slightly degraded version, but still producing broadly similar applications. 🌿
Although at this point little research has been done on CBDv - the results that are being collected look extremely promising in the medical world in regards to multiple neurological conditions. 👩🔬👨🔬
The medicinal benefits of CBDv show its ability to be used as an anticonvulsant and to relieve nausea. Studies have also shown the positive effects of CBDv on Epilepsy. 🎉
